On the Move @ Plentea, San Francisco

Throughout the month of February, I'll be featuring Chinese foods in time for Chinese New Year. This post is dedicated to my hard core bubble tea readers, who have helped propel my list of The Best Boba Teas in San Francisco as one of my highest read articles. There is just something addictive with these Taiwanese originated drinks that make me uber happy. It is my form of crack :)

Hot on the heels of long-timer boba tea shops is newbie Plentea, which sets itself apart by serving their teas in a glass bottle. You can take the bottle home and recycle, but I found that their sea salt crema oolong tea was not up par my ultimate favorite rock salt cheese with wintermelon tea from Sharetea. There was no salty kick that I expected from the sea salt.

Fret not though. Plentea is one of the many shops/cafes that now accept Kash, a mobile payment app, which is giving away $20 free credit after signing up. My only wish is that the app company seriously thinks about renaming the app because people, i.e. the cashier, thought  I wanted to pay in cash when I said "I have Kash." Confusing, right?
