On the Move @ Marla Bakery, San Francisco

It's been awhile since I trekked out to the Outer Richmond. It surprised me that the beloved Purple Kow is across Marla, while Cassava is just a block away on Balboa Street, which could very well be the next hidden gateway for gastronomic adventures in the city.

I doubled down on the egg brunch entrees and baked goods outside the sunny patio at Marla's. They also have space for an intimate garden party if the weather cooperates. Although both my eating buddy and I enjoyed our meals, we agreed that there was inconsistency on pricing. The poached egg was about twice as expensive as the baked one, considering that the only main difference is the variety of vegetables used. Marla, please shed some light here. Otherwise, this bakery is a good pit stop if ever you are in the Outer Richmond neighborhood.

Baked egg with brussel sprouts and goat cheese

Poached eggs with muffins

Not my favorite snack of all time but reminded me of Indian pastries.

Savory puff pastry which was a bit dry for my taste.
