About

Christine (or fondly called as c3lsius- pronounced as 'celsius') is a professional food photographer, food writer, a travel buff and a certified barista. She captures photography for the soul during the most delicious, sumptuous and heavenly moments of every gastronomic feast.

She has honed her eye for graphic food shots through her gastronomic travels and in the kitchen of a San Francisco patisserie. A citizen of the world having lived in 7 countries, she considers her greatest travel momentos the food she has savored- Singapore's hainanese chicken, India's gulab jamun, Holland's pannekoeken and Nepal's momos.

Her career as a professional food photographer began under the tutelage of pastry chefs for both savory and sweet gourmet items. She completed her food photo workshop led by the FPPF (Federation of Philippines Photographers Foundation) and another workshop instructed by professional food photographer/blogger Danielle Tsi in San Francisco. During her college years, she was part of a PBS station's graphic team producing images for tv and print, polishing her skills as a photo editor.

Christine is an avid food writer. She completed a food writing course instructed by food writer and author Jeannette Ferrary as well as a creative nonfiction writing workshop at Stanford University. She also moonlights as a marketing and business development consultant for one of San Francisco's top patisseries, DeLise Dessert Cafe.

Currently, she is based in San Francisco, California. She holds a MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, Netherlands and a B.S. Business Administration in Marketing and International Studies from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington.
