What I Ate During My Food Writing Class? I

Note: I am out for two weeks for another gastronomy experience in an exciting country! So I will be scheduling posts of pictures mostly from my Spring semester food writing class at Stanford- better late than never!

On our last class, we were requested to write about a food that reminds us about our childhood and bring it to class. I wrote about lechon and obviously couldn't bring one to school with me! Ha! So I ended up bringing miso rice crispies instead. And here are what my other classmates brought starting with mud pie (because desserts come first) and rice-a-roni:
