Eating My Way Through Macau Part 4: Wing Lei

If you are looking for a cheap, hole-in-the-wall dimsum place, then Wing Lei is not for you. Mind you, this two Michelin star establishment is located inside the ritzy Wynn.

I loved everything about Wing Lei! From the classy, contemporary green and red theme to the 6-course lunch dimsum that is only less than US$30! Wing Lei is the cheapest Michelin rated restaurant I have ever been to, but they certainly don't come up short with the quality of their dimsum and customer service (besides from some young waitstaff who were having difficulty speaking English to me while I was speaking broken Mandarin to them. We all tried, ok!).

Wing Lei has a good selection of steamed dumplings that are perfect for those looking for a healthier meal. While at it, get some tofu skin with bean curd, too! I was not able to take a picture of the two soup desserts I had - one was cold mango pudding, which I highly recommend, while the other was the hot red bean soup.

Steamed prawn and baby spinach dumpling with fish roe. Yumy!! And the dough was perfectly made. Not too sticky nor thick.
The designer menu.

Yes, the carpet!

Tofu skin with bean curd. It's been awhile since I had this. Makes me feel so healthy.

Steamed bun with peanuts and red bean

If you come with a large group, try the ala carte menu.

This is like bochi balls but with foie gras - my ultimate favorite!! Very original.
Love love Wing Lei.
