It not only wakes us up and gives us the energy to get to and concentrate at work in the mornings, but is associated with numerous health benefits as well. If you are stuck between your morning java wakeup and the protein and vitamin-packed smoothie, then I have the perfect solution. Yes, that is right; there is nothing to stop you from making yourself a delicious, nutritious, and caffeine-infused coffee smoothie to start your day. 

Of course, you will find a range of recipes for coffee smoothies online. Although, my most favorite is this yummy WAKE ME UP COFFEE SMOOTHIE that contains bananas and oats. Although, this recipe that also uses peanut butter is a real winner too.

Bulletproof coffee
If you fast or a smoothie is just too much for breakfast, there is another wonderful AM option that goes beyond a typical Americano or Latte. Of course, it is the famous bulletproof coffee, loved by those on Keto and Paleo alike. 

It is super simple to make as well, as all you need to do is take your cup of freshly brewed coffee and add in 1 tablespoon of MCT oil and two tablespoons of unsalted butter. The ingredients should mix to form smooth emulsions that will pep you up and fill you up for your morning ahead.

Coffee cake 
You can also make the most of your Life With Coffee by opting for a sweeter, choice like cake. However, by coffee cake, I mean cake with coffee as part of its ingredients, rather than a streusel or slice that is only eaten with coffee. 

There are several options to consider here, including English Coffee and walnut cake, Japanese coffee bean biscuits, and even this rather delicious coffee cheesecake that is super easy to whip up. 

Cocktails
Finally, coffee is one of the best accompaniments to alcohol because it allows you to stay awake and alert. However, it does not entirely negate all the effects of the booze! 

In particular, you should try at least one espresso martini in your life. All you need to do is make a simple sugar syrup by combining a 100g or golden caster sugar with 50ml water in a pan. Then slowly bring to the boil. 

After that, allow the syrup to cool, and chill your martini glass in the refrigerator. 
Then once the syrup has cooled, put a tablespoon of it into a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice, 100ml of vodka, 50ml of espresso, and 50ml of Coffee liquor. Now it's time to do your Tom Cruise routine, extra points for flashy throws, and not getting coffee-infused alcohol all over the walls. Once the mixture feels cold, decant into your chilled glass. Garnish with a coffee bean or two and enjoy.
