Freshen Your Pallete

The minty taste of Andes milk chocolates made it on the lomo. Since many has been asking me why my photos have become grainy and, yes, looking like it was taken by my greatgrand ancestors.. well folks, the DSLR has caught on to many young photo enthusiasts, but little do they know that in the grand scheme of photography, lomography has attracted somewhat like a cult. Buying an old Diana (or even just the upkeep of one), popularized back in the 60s, is expensive. Thank gawd for the advent of the iPhone apps, lomo fans can now create lomo pics for free! The one I regularly use is Lomo Lomo, a free app that comes with a classic lomo, white russian (b&w), fallen angel (sepia), bloody mary (red) lens, while some utilize Hipstamatic, Lomo Camera, etc. Other photo apps have lomo filters that you can use, too.

And guess what? With only $0.99, I can buy the fish eye lens. woohoo! Because I'm so enamored by the photo apps on the iPhone, my urge to buy a point-and-shoot to carry around those impromptu gastronomic affairs is totally gone.
