On the Move @ Rutherford Grill

I was on a hunt for cheaper eats in Napa- something that is cheaper than Bouchon but a little bit upscale than Gott's. After practicing my Yelping skills, I settled for a casual Rutherford Grill (since my first two preferences, Mustard Grill and Brix, had some problems with their online reservation system ugh!).

I was not very impressed with my meal at Rutherford. Their award winning rotisserie chicken failed to impress me neither did the steak my partner-in-crime ate. As I mentioned before, I am particular with my bird. Rutherford's chicken is miles behind Zuni Cafe's, which I have dubbed as The Best Chicken I Ever Ate. Rutherford's artichoke dip was also not really one of a kind. So what gives with this fancy diner?

First, I like the fact that they serve Castello di Amorosa's grape juice. Once you've tasted this juice, you'll never go back to Mott's or any other grocery brand grape juice again! Second, the kale (side) salad was the winner of my meal. Is it because I find it hard to buy kale or I've never cooked kale at home? Maybe both, and I'm always happy when I'm stuffing myself with nutritious veggies.

Overall, I would come back here just to eat the kale salad.
