On the Move @ Locanda, San Francisco

I finally made it to Locanda after many months of planning to come to this place.  Brought to you by the same group from Delfina, I had high hopes specifically on their fresh pasta after getting acquainted on their delectable pizzas at Pizzeria Delfina. But before we start with the appetizer and the entree, dessert must come first when I am dining with my nephew. As you can see above, the little one had his hands and mouth full on the chocolate dessert.

I actually prefer this location over Delfina and Pizzeria Delfina since parking wasn't as bad as I expected.

Enjoying my cocktail before dinner starts.

The starter bread was very good- even the 3 year old chef to-be liked it.

Arugula with shaved artichokes with avocadoes. Something was amiss here.

My favorite asparagus. I need to remind myself that I should take a picture of the menu so I won't forget what I ate!

Simple and fresh spaghetti. A bit disappointing since it still didn't taste like any of the fresh pastas from Italy :(

Warm chocolate cake devoured by my nephew in seconds.
