Hatchery + Breakfast Biscuit Recipe

For today's one-week blog challenge, I'm using a savory red pepper jam, one of the many goodies I got from Hatchery, a subscription box that provides food products from artisans all around the US for consumers who appreciate high-quality, small-batch made ingredients (more about this on a later post).

My Hatchery sample box came at the right time since I was running out of ideas for my blog challenge. The first and easiest one to incorporate to anything I have in my kitchen is a jam from Jammy Yummy from Miami. I've also never tasted a red pepper jam before so that piqued my curiosity.

Sorry, the egg is MIA on this photo.
These buttermilk biscuits are so addictive and versatile! As you can see on the photo above, I nibbled on the biscuit before I could even take a photo of it. Later at night, I also made another one with salmon and egg with jam (again!). Turkey breast and pulled pork or chicken would also work great for those craving for a meatier dish. Or you can even add seasoning and cheese while it's baking in the oven. One can makes 8 biscuits so that means you can experiment with as many versions as you want.
